Escape Winter, Join us for an adventurous flotilla vacation in January (2012)

Spend 7 days in the Bahamas and only miss 4 days of work!  (Trip will be over the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday)  This vacation is a great chance to enjoy sailing in a tropical paradise and have fun with others from The Sailing Academy. Singles and couples are welcome. No previous sailing experience is necessary.

All Inclusive*

Everything You Need for 7 days in the Sunny Bahamas including Captain, 40’ yacht, meals aboard, provisioning, snorkeling trips and accommodations*.  The Sailing Academy seeks to put together the best trips at the best price.  Marsh Harbour is only a one hour flight from Ft. Lauderdale, Miami or West Palm and very reasonable compared to other charter locations.

Itinerary:

Fly into Marsh Harbour, Abaco on Saturday, January 14. Board our Yachts at The Moorings Charter Base. Flotilla reception will be at 4:00pm by the pool where you will receive yacht and cabin assignments. Dinner will be ashore at one of the many restaurants. Sunday morning depart Marsh Harbour for the out islands. We will visit destinations such as Hope Town, Great Guana Key, New Plymouth and Green Turtle Key. Besides sailing, we will explore remote beaches, snorkel on exquisite reefs and shop in loyalist settlements. You may even try your hand at catching Caribbean Lobster to grill at sunset! Our group will return to Marsh Harbour by 9:00am on Saturday Jan. 21st to catch departing flights.

Learn to Sail in the Abacos! We will be covering the ASA 104, Bareboat Chartering information during the trip. Put your knowledge into practice or earn 104 certification if you are ready to take the course.
