Five-Day Sailing Camp

(Monday- Friday; 10am-3pm)

Cost: $325.00  Prerequisites: None  Ages:9-12 and 13-16

Dates:

June 14-18              Ages 9-12

June 21-25              Ages 12-16

June 28-July 2          Ages 9-12

A week of fun activities and games on the beach and in the water makes this our most popular youth camp! Young people learn how to sail on 14' dinghies. Camps cover water safety, capsize recovery, rigging, terminology and basic sailing skills in a fun and exciting atmosphere.

At the Sailing Academy, Herrington Harbour North

Five-Day Sailing Course on 25' Boats

(Monday-Friday; 10am-3pm)

Cost: $525 Prerequisites: None  Ages: 14-17

Teens learn to skipper and crew on sailboats between 23-28'. While learning to sail, students also learn navigation aids, rules of the road, knots, terminology and sailing theory. Students may qualify for ASA certification. Some experience helpful.

Big Boat Cruising Camp (Live Aboard)

Five-Day/four Night Stay Aboard Cruising Camp on 36-40' Boats

Monday 1pm through Friday at 4pm

Cost: 1145.00    Ages: 14-17

The ultimate teen sailing adventure on the Chesapeake Bay! While building their sailing skills, teens also learn navigation, course plotting, boat systems, anchoring, etc. as they cruise to different ports on the Bay.
